The first Catesapalooza Barbecue Festival was held in the parking lot of Cates Family Meat Company, 6399 Goodman Road in Olive Branch, on Oct. 31. It was the kick-start event of a three-year plan to launch and sanction an Olive Branch barbecue contest and music festival.
