Dear Piggy Ribs,
I have to check out rib fest this coming year! I just recently moved to Chicago, and tried to go to my first of the city’s many festivals this past summer. But ribfest? That has to happen next year. I used to live in New Hampshire in my youth, and knew of the great BBQ places in that area. Are there any places you suggest here in the city? Thanks for the festival ideas.
I wanted to pass along a great food story for your viewing pleasure. Celebrity chef and grilling guru Guy Fieri crowned Kristina Vanni of North Hollywood, Calif., the National Pork Board’s “Next Pork Personality” after a live grilling showdown at the Food Network New York City Wine & Food Festival. The summer-long search asked Americans to star in their own two-minute video highlighting their best tips for sizzlin’ up pork on the grill.
For more information on this story, as well as video and photos of Guy and the finalists in New York City, please go to

Thank you very much for your time.
